Local Zionsville Orthodontist and owner at Godley Family Orthodontics, Dr. Danielle Godley, is thrilled to now be a volunteer for Gifted Smiles, a program developed by the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (AAOF).
Gifted Smiles was developed to provide orthodontic treatment to children in need. The goal of the program is to provide children with access to a beautiful, healthy smile and functional bite.
Gifted Smiles volunteer orthodontists provide necessary orthodontic treatments to children of families who lack access to care due to financial difficulties. This service could be life-changing for kids and teens who might not otherwise have access to it.
About Gifted Smiles
Gifted Smiles, formerly Donated Orthodontic Services (DOS), is a nationwide initiative that connects volunteer orthodontists with children from families who cannot afford orthodontic care. These children often suffer from dental issues that affect their self-esteem, oral health, and overall well-being. The program is made possible by the generosity of volunteer orthodontists who donate their time and expertise.
The Gifted Smiles program assists families in all 50 states. The program has helped children across the country receive the orthodontic care they need. By volunteering their time and expertise, orthodontists like Dr. Godley are making a difference in the lives of children and families in their communities. The program provides treatment nationwide and has helped thousands of children love their smile and functional bite.
